Tourists

I just ran a Netflix movie up to the post office and noticed all the tourists walking around reading the posted notes about LBJ. I know that most of the time when we get away to scrapbook or stamp we never see the light of day. But what a great break it would be to walk through Lyndon B. Johnson's boyhood home. It is just right down the street from us. Come see for yourself!

Chocolate Cake

I have a confession. I cannot stop thinking about chocolate cake. I cannot wait to make one for you. Now how long is it till you can come here?

Have You Ever ...

Have you ever been to a scrapbook retreat that had a huge crop room? I have. There were probably about 35 people in the room scrapbooking with me. I didn't feel comfortable wearing my pajamas or joining in on conversations. I couldn't hear the movie and did good to hear the music. Sure I got a lot done, but did I have a super girl weekend? No.

Now imagine going on a retreat with 4 of your friends. And you are the ONLY people in the house. You can talk about anything, watch anything, wear anything, hear anything that goes on. You can spend time with your friends really enjoying their company. Talking about your good times and sharing the hard times of being a mom/wife/daughter/sister/friend. And at the same time accomplishing a project you have set aside all year.

This is your turn. Your turn to get away and get rejuvenated. So you can go back home and be a better mother/wife/daughter/sister and friend. Get the sleep you so desperately need, even take a nap. Remember those?!? Be served. Not having to cook, clean or even take your plate to the sink if you fancy.

Getting Ready for YOU

We are now taking reservations for weekends beginning November 6, 2009! Please call me at 830-992-1250 to reserve your ultimate girl getaway.

We are in Johnson City, Texas in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our cabin will host 5 people. We listened to you and have not used any bunk beds, only twins. Your group will be the only ones in the cabin so you can feel free to stay in your pj's if you like!

All meals will be served, including coffee, tea, cokes and dessert! You need only bring your crafting supplies and personal items.

The movie library is ever growing. I've had to make myself stop buying. :)

We will be making changes to the website in the coming weeks, so look here for the most up-to-date information.

Planning

We are getting close to starting our build for the crop room. I'm trying to figure the number of people we can host. Please take the poll to the side. We will be able to crop several, but sleeping arrangements are proving to be tricky.
